Lot location
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Middle Temple is one of the four Inns of Court in London (the others being Inner Temple, Lincolns Inn and Grays Inn). All barristers will start their careers as a member of one of the Inns. This 'lot' includes a tour of the Middle Temple Hall, the Princes Room, Reception Rooms and the Library with Lesley Whitelaw, the Archivist, and with Charles Wright, an Honorary Bencher. Lunch in the Hall will be followed by a tour of Temple Church with the Master of the Church, the Revd Robin Griffith Jones. The week days available for this 'lot' are Monday-Thursday. Middle Temple is situated between Fleet Street and the Embankment on Middle Temple Lane (EC4Y 9AT). The nearest underground is Temple, and access by taxi is through the Tudor Street Gate. The Inns of Court are rarely visited by the general public. To have lunch in the Hall is very special and to look around the 14th century Temple Church will enthral those who have a modicum of historical interest - or have read the Da Vinci Code! Please note the highest bid on each lot, when the On-Line bidding ceases at 4.00pm 16th May 2014, will be carried forward to the live auction event at the Downton Dinner for Chilterns MS Centre on the evening of Friday 16th May 2014. Max bids will be transferred to the live event and "bid in" on your behalf as if you were in the room.
